Job Title: Inside Promotional Consultant


Are you a customer service representative that's looking for a new challenge? Then we're looking for you!


Summary:

Highly motivated individual responsible for qualifying leads and soliciting orders for products by telephone or email from in the office. Performs the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Calls prospective customers in designated market area to qualify leads and explain type of service or product offered. Talks with customers by phone.

Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Obtains credit information on prospective customers.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database, keep database up to date by documenting all correspondence with customer.

Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.

Helps develop established script to use when calling prospects.

Informs current and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products.

Prepares report on sales activities.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma

Language Skills

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.



Computer Skills

Must be proficient with Word and Excel.



Other Qualifications

CAS or MAS designation a plus.

Must have valid driver’s license.
